Parsons Green's pumpkin patch runs 24 Oct to 1 Nov, now from £7.50. Franky plays the Lyric 27 to 31 Oct; The Hungry Ghost's Halloween shows are sold out.

Halloween falls on Saturday 31 October this year, the Saturday at the end of half term for most Hammersmith and Fulham schools. The big local event is the London Pumpkin Patch on Parsons Green, open 10am to 7pm every day from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November, with a Trick-or-Treat Lane for children aged 3 and over. Around it there is a Halloween musical at the Lyric, two spooky plays at Fulham Palace and two Halloween film concerts at the Eventim Apollo. Every listing here was checked on the organiser’s own page on 3 October 2026.

The London Pumpkin Patch, Parsons Green

This is the one most people are searching for. The organiser’s own site and the council’s event listing both give 24 October to 1 November, 10am to 7pm daily, on Parsons Green, SW6 4UL. It is run by The Seasonal Events Company. Its site now says booking is “from £7.50” (it said £6 when we first checked). The ticket page lists pumpkin-patch-only entry at £7.79 for adults, juniors and children aged 2 to 12, £7.01 for a concession, and the Trick-or-Treat Lane add-on at £10.38 for each child, which does not include entry. Disability support companions go free.

There are two parts:

  • The pumpkin patch. Winding paths, autumn photo backdrops, roaming characters and, in the organiser’s words, “over 10,000 pumpkins to choose from”. The pumpkins are paid for separately from the ticket. There is a parents’ rest area with hot drinks and snacks.
  • Trick-or-Treat Lane, an add-on for children aged 3 and over. The organiser describes it as a 30-minute storytelling walk: a story, then a row of doors to knock on, each with a character behind it, and a bag of sweets to fill. One adult goes round with the children on each booking. There is a SEN session on Monday 26 October from 12 noon to 1pm.

New for 2026 is a play zone with a jack-o’-lantern toss, giant Connect Four, pumpkin bowling and hook-a-duck. Sunday 1 November is “smash day”, with a splat wall and a spiky pumpkin board; the organiser says the smashed pumpkins go for biofuel.

What to know before you go, from the visitor information:

  • Entry is by timed ticket. Your QR code arrives by email when you book. Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your slot.
  • The site is cashless. Bring a card for pumpkins, drinks and snacks.
  • Under-2s go free for the patch, and carers go free. Children must be with an adult at all times.
  • No dogs, except registered assistance dogs.
  • A supervised buggy park at the entrance is free. There are toilets on site.
  • It is outdoors and can be muddy. The organiser suggests wellies.
  • There is no event parking. The organiser asks everyone to come by public transport.

The organiser also suggests visiting “in the evening when the lanterns are at their best”. The clocks go back on Sunday 25 October, so for the second half of the run the last slots before the 7pm close are after dark.

Getting to Parsons Green

Parsons Green station on the District line (Zone 2) is a short walk from the entrance; Fulham Broadway and Putney Bridge are each about 10 to 15 minutes on foot. The organiser lists the 22 and 424 buses on New King’s Road and the 14 on Fulham Road. If you must drive, our parking in Fulham page has the zone hours and the emissions-based rates, and Fulham roadworks and travel has any District line closures that week.

Lyric Hammersmith: Franky

The Lyric’s Little Lyric Halloween show is Franky, from Theatre Fideri, in the Studio from Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31 October at 11am and 1pm, so the last two performances fall on Halloween itself. Professor Frankenstein makes a companion on a stormy night and gets the lovable Franky, who sets out to win over the frightened villagers with Fairground Annie and Igor the Robot. There are songs, a hook-a-duck game and “the Franky Walk”. It is for ages 3 and over and costs from £12, plus the Lyric’s £2 restoration levy on each basket. Children under 18 months do not need a ticket. Box office: 020 8741 6850.

The Saturday before, 24 October, the Studio has Penguin at 11am and 1pm, a puppet show for ages 2 to 8, which is not a Halloween show but fills the first day of the break.

Fulham Palace: two spooky plays

Fulham Palace has two Halloween plays on Thursday 29 October in the chaplain’s garden marquee, each about 50 minutes:

  • Hansel and Gretel at 11am, for ages 4 to 7. The palace bills it as “Step into the spooky woods this half term”: whispering trees, talking cats and the gingerbread house.
  • The Canterville Ghost at 2pm, for ages 7 and over. An interactive version of Oscar Wilde’s story about a ghost who cannot scare the new family in his mansion.

Both cost £12 for a child or an adult, or £45 for two adults and two children. The palace itself is free to visit, and on Wednesday 28 October it has a free crafts and costumes morning in the great hall; our half term page has the details.

For grown-ups and older children

  • Hocus Pocus in Concert, Sunday 25 October, Eventim Apollo, 45 Queen Caroline Street, W6 9QH. A matinee: doors 1.30pm, film at 2.30pm, with John Debney’s score played live by an orchestra. The film is a PG and under 14s must be with an adult. The venue calls it “the perfect Halloween treat”.
  • Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert, Sunday 25 October, Eventim Apollo, doors 6.30pm. The 1986 film on a big screen with a live band playing to David Bowie’s original vocals; the venue describes it as a one-off London show “this Halloween”.
  • The Hungry Ghost, Bush Theatre Studio, 7 Uxbridge Road, W12 8LJ. The theatre calls Mei Leng Yew’s debut play “a sexy horror rom-com”; it stars Mei Mac and Isabella Wei. Its run ends on Halloween with performances at 3pm and 8pm, £25, ages 16 and over. When we checked on 9 October, every remaining performance, including both Halloween shows, was marked sold out.

The Apollo’s pages link to Eventim for tickets and did not show a price when we checked.

Is there a fireworks display or a council Halloween event?

No. We went through Hammersmith and Fulham Council’s events calendar for 3 October to 14 November on 3 October 2026. Apart from the pumpkin patch, which the council lists, it contains no Halloween event and nothing on or around 5 November. Old listings for fireworks in Ravenscourt Park or Bishops Park are out of date; nothing like them is on the council’s 2026 calendar.
